Tissue-Specific Aptamer Matrices
In article number 2409071, Yong Hu and co-workers successfully engineer a biomimetic trachea with regenerated vascular connective tissue scattered between avascular cartilage rings using the assembly of two distinct tissue-specific aptamer matrices. This approach fosters the development of (a)vascular niches in reconstructed trachea after end-to-end anastomosis, along with optimal structural, mechanical, and physiological features.
